UKATA offers Associate Membership to all companies who provide an industry related service interested in gaining recognition as a UKATA supporter without qualifying for Professional Membership of the Association.

Associate Membership provides an opportunity to mark a presence in the asbestos industry showing commitment and support to continued improvements in asbestos training.

Associate Members shall be:

  • Entitled to display the UKATA Associate Membership logo on Company media applications, letterhead and marketing literature.
  • Listed with their full contact details and company logo on the UKATA website within a bespoke Associate Membership area.
  • Offered the opportunity to benefit from discounted advertising rates in UKATA Matters publication.
  • Offered a discounted trade stand at the Annual UKATA AGM & Conference.
  • Entitled to receive four PDF editions per year of UKATA Matters journal.

Criteria   

Associate Members shall be:

  • Companies who provide an industry related service to the Asbestos, Construction and Health and Safety Industry wishing to be associated with the aims and objectives of UKATA.
  • Expected to assist the aims and objectives of UKATA and be encouraged to play an active role in the continual development of the Association.

Application Process

  • Complete the Associate Membership Application Form (A0085) and return to UKATA with the appropriate (non-refundable) administration fee.
  • Application details will be checked by the office in the first instance then referred to Executive Committee to ensure the Associate Membership criteria is met.
  • The UKATA Executive Committee shall consider the application for Associate Membership at the subsequent Board meeting and advise the applicant of the outcome within 7 days of that meeting.
  • Following approval for Associate Membership the applicant shall be required to pay the annual subscription fee.
  • Once payment has been received the applicant will receive a UKATA certificate of Associate Membership and log in details to access the members’ area of the UKATA website.
  • To ensure continued Associate Membership of UKATA, members shall be required to pay their annual membership fee by the due date.
