Throughout UKATA’s history, the association has been nominated for a variety of awards from different awarding bodies locally and nationwide. The success at these awards demonstrates the impact the of their commitments and achievements have positively impacted the association and wider industry.


Federation of Small Business Awards – Service Excellence Award – 2023 – Finalist

UKATA demonstrated how they have gone above and beyond to deliver First-class customer service, and how they have approached meeting and exceeding their customers’ expectations.


East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards - Excellence in Customer Service - 2021 - Winner

On Friday 12 November 2021, UKATA secured the Excellence in Customer Service Award which focuses on customer service and care within an organisation. Businesses had to demonstrate excellence and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.


East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards - Commitment to People Development Award – 2020 – Finalist

The award recognises organisations that demonstrate a firm commitment to people development, implementation, and promotion of a learning and development culture, as well as how employee wellbeing is supported.


Derbyshire Times Business Awards 2019 – Innovation Award – 2019 – Finalist

The nomination recognises businesses who have created a new product, process, or service and how the innovation has benefitted an organisation to create competitive advantage, through increased productivity, cost saving or development of the brand.


Derbyshire Times Business Awards - Business Person of the Year - 2017 - Winner

In 2017, Craig Evans was named Business Person of the Year at the Derbyshire Times Business Awards.

Mates in Mind Impact Awards - Senior Leadership Engagement Award - 2021 - Highly Commended

In 2021, Chief Operating Officer, Craig Evans and Senior Operations Manager, Debbie Nixon, were highly commended again for the "Senior Leadership Engagement Award" displaying their commitment to maintaining and improving mental wellbeing in the workplace.


Mates in Mind Impact Awards - Individual Champion Award for SME Organisations - 2020 - Highly Commended

In 2020, Craig Evans was highly commended for the "Individual Champion Awards for SME Organisations" at the Mates in Mind Impact Awards for his work supporting individuals throughout their career and implementing positive policies.


Safety & Health Excellence Awards - Campaign of the Year Award - Commended - 2018

In 2018, UKATA were commended for the "Campaign of the Year Award" following on from their work with the Train Safe, Work Safe, Keep Safe campaign which involved the associations members nationwide. The association also joined in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, part of The Department for Work & Pensions.


Derbyshire Times Business Awards - Small Business Award - 2017 - Highly Commended

In 2017, UKATA was highly commended in the Small Business Award category at the Derbyshire Times Business Awards.
