The 4th Chromium ESG Technical Conference will take place on 6-7 October in Gothenburg, bringing together technical experts from across the chromium value chain. The conference will provide a platform for industry professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss the ongoing development of a responsible and sustainable chromium industry.
Following the success of previous editions, the conference continues to support collaboration across the sector by creating opportunities for experts to share experiences and explore practical approaches to industry challenges.
As part of this year’s programme, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a technical visit hosted by Vargön Alloys AB and CoreX Holding BV. The visit will showcase their work to reduce Scope 1 emissions by approximately 20% through the use of hybrid biocarbon briquettes, highlighting an example of practical innovation supporting the decarbonisation of the chromium industry.
The event provides a valuable opportunity for industry colleagues and experts to engage with current topics affecting the chromium sector and consider the developments shaping its future.
