Celebrating continuous success, UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA), a leading authority for asbestos training, has been announced as a finalist for the Service Excellence Award in the Federation of Small Business Awards.
The FSB Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of small businesses and the self-employed across the UK. With winners from each category securing a spot at the prestigious UK final and a chance to be crowned the UK Small Business of the Year.
The FSB offer a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, and support. Their mission is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. In applying for the awards, UKATA were required to demonstrate their commitment to delivering first class customer service, showcase how they have gone above and beyond, and the benefits to the business by putting customers first. Also, demonstrating how the business has responded to changing customer needs and expectations.
Customer service has always been a top priority for the association. Achieving and retaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, shows how their internal quality systems and procedures follow the strict guidelines set. Therefore, providing the services that meet the customers and stakeholders needs.
Speaking on the shortlist announcement, Craig Evans, UKATA Chief Operating Officer said:

Selected from hundreds of entries, UKATA has made it through to the East Midlands final on Wednesday 1st March at Leicester Marriott Hotel.
During the ceremony, the association will compete for first place in one of 12 categories.
The largest event of its kind in the small business calendar, FSB’s Celebrating Small Business Awards champion the achievements and contributions of small businesses and self-employed people across the UK.
Established in 2008, UKATA is a highly respected, leading authority on asbestos training. UKATA’s passion is to both maintain and improve asbestos training, ensuring the highest standards are upheld by means of continuous quality assessment of UKATA training provided by our members.
