The UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) is proud to announce their partnership with Highways UK Exhibition 2023, taking place 18 – 19 October 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. The event will showcase the latest developments and innovations in the highways industry, with a focus on sustainability, technology, and safety.
Highways UK, launched in 2015 at the start of the Government’s first five-year road investment strategy (RIS), brings together the people responsible for planning, developing, managing, maintaining, and future-proofing the nation’s roads networks. The high-level multi-stream conference covers the critical topics facing the sector, including decarbonisation, road investment, road safety, innovation in local roads, digitalisation and attracting talent.

As a Chartered Chemist, Chartered Quality Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, Chris Bishop has worked with UKATA since its inception 15 years ago and represents the association at HSE led Asbestos Network meetings. Chris has been working within the asbestos industry for over 20 years.
