UKATA Maintains Partnership with CLR Expo 2026

UKATA is pleased to confirm its continued partnership with the Contamination & Land Remediation Expo (CLR Expo) 2026, taking place on 16-17 September at the NEC Birmingham as part of the Environmental Services & Solutions (ESS) Expo.

As one of the UK's leading events for contamination, remediation and geoenvironmental professionals, CLR Expo brings together contractors, consultants, engineers, regulators, local authorities, developers and technology providers to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector. The event is expected to welcome thousands of professionals from across the contamination and land remediation supply chain, creating a unique platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

UKATA will be exhibiting at the show on stand CLR-M2, where visitors can speak with the team about asbestos training and workforce development, including specialist training for professionals working with asbestos in soils and made ground and contaminated land environments.

Throughout the two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a comprehensive exhibition featuring solutions focused on contaminated sites, soils and materials, hazardous substance management, biodiversity and natural capital, geotechnical engineering, laboratory analysis and environmental consultancy services. Visitors will also benefit from a packed programme of seminars, panel discussions, technical presentations and live demonstrations designed to address current industry challenges and emerging opportunities.

CLR Expo forms a key part of ESS Expo, which brings together seven interconnected environmental events under one roof. A single registration provides access to sectors spanning land remediation, geotechnical engineering, air quality, water management, resource management, decarbonisation and environmental monitoring, enabling professionals to explore the wider environmental landscape and build valuable cross-sector connections.

Speaking of the event, Events & Marketing Manager of UKATA, Victoria Castelluccio, said:

"CLR Expo continues to be one of the most important events in the environmental and remediation calendar. The challenges facing the sector are becoming increasingly complex, particularly as redevelopment projects bring contamination and sustainability considerations into sharper focus. Our continued partnership with the event reflects UKATA's commitment to supporting competency and ensuring that asbestos risks remain a key consideration throughout land remediation and redevelopment activities. We look forward to meeting industry professionals and supporting meaningful conversations that help create safer working environments."

With increasing emphasis on brownfield regeneration, sustainable construction and environmental protection, CLR Expo 2026 provides an invaluable opportunity for professionals to access the latest technical developments and explore practical solutions to today's land contamination challenges.
