UKATA Marketing Workshop set to be an OMG experience

Marketing guru set to deliver masterclass on marketing in July

The UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) holds its AGM on 8 July at Hilton East Midlands Hotel, Derby, with the afternoon given over to a masterclass from renowned marketing guru Geoff Ramm from OMG Marketing. For the first time tickets are being offered to the public to allow interested parties to attend Geoff Ramm’s world renowned workshop.

As a multi-award winning speaker, Geoff Ramm has inspired audiences across five continents with his ideas on customer service and marketing. With clients including Barclays, British Airways and Dixons Carphone, UKATA is confident members will take a lot from the event and that having secured Geoff’s services, it made sense to offer everyone the opportunity to learn from such a respected expert.

“We have been lucky enough to secure some amazing speakers at our past AGMs but Geoff Ramm is a real coup,” said UKATA Marketing Officer, Victoria Castelluccio.

Geoff is one of those speakers who does more than just inspire. Famously described as the ‘Billy Connolly of marketing’; his presentations have people searching for pens to jot down his ideas and imagining how they can be applied to their business.

“If you are a training provider, an SME, owner manager or anybody in the world of marketing that really wants to stand out from the crowd, gain more customers and be remembered for years to come then at the UKATA AGM I’m going to be delivering a keynote talk and also an interactive session,” said Geoff Ramm, author and Creator of OMG Marketing. “I’m going to be sharing with everybody on the day the ideas, the brands the people that have stood out from the competition and are going to be remembered in years and years to come.”

2016 will be the eighth AGM and Conference for the UK Asbestos Training Association and as news of Geoff’s involvement spreads, it is expected to be the most popular yet. Recognised as the key event for UKATA members and industry watchers alike, UKATA prides itself on delivering an event grounded in asbestos awareness, yet at the same time offering a much wider industry appeal.

“In addition to our specialist asbestos speakers, last year we welcomed the ‘Millionaire Maker’ Richard Denny, so we do have a track record of inviting strong motivational speakers,” added Victoria. “We have a mandate to inform and educate on the latest thinking when it comes to standards in asbestos training and safety, but we also know that many delegates are looking for more business orientated content. We have looked to do that every year and 2016 will prove no exception.”

The full AGM agenda and conference line-up has now been announced and while the event will allow members to engage in valuable networking opportunities as usual, it is the news of Geoff Ramm’s involvement that has already got UKATA members talking.

“I’m going to be sharing cost effective ideas on exhibition stands, direct mail, on using opportunities in the world around us also looking at social media, you name it,” added Geoff. “We are going to cover so much.
