UKATA Shortlisted for Prestigious Business Award

UKATA is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Employer of the Year category at the East Midlands Business of the Year Awards 2026, recognising organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to creating exceptional workplaces and investing in their people.

Organised by TheBusinessDesk.com and sponsored by PwC and RBC Brewin Dolphin, the Business of the Year Awards celebrate the region's most successful, innovative and high-performing businesses. Following a rigorous judging process, shortlisted organisations were selected for their achievements and invited to present to an independent judging panel ahead of the awards ceremony.

Being named as a finalist reflects UKATA’s ongoing commitment to providing a positive workplace culture, supporting employee wellbeing, investing in professional development and creating opportunities for every member of the team to thrive.

UKATA, a leading association, is dedicated to enhancing the quality and standards of asbestos training with the aim to shield workers and the public from the hazards of asbestos exposure.

The association collaborates closely with its members to guarantee that they have access to the latest information, training resources, and industry updates. They provide a suite of support services to assist them in accomplishing their training objectives. Their membership encompasses a diverse array of organisations involved in asbestos training, including training providers, asbestos removal contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers.

UKATA is fervent about promoting safe and responsible working practices, committed to working with members and partners to realise a shared vision of protecting workers and the public from the hazards linked with asbestos exposure.
