On Friday 18th October 3B Training will be hosting their firstever charity ball. The event will be held at Leigh Sports Village in the Wigan Borough and will raise money for Mates in Mind.
Mates in Mind is a charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing across the construction industry. They aim to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing in construction and related industries across the UK.
The night will consist of welcome drinks, a guest speaker, a three-course meal & wine on tables, entertainment and a charity auction.
The guest speaker for the evening is Justin Manley. In 2015 Justin was involved in an almost fatal water main explosion that almost cost him his life. He had to have his face reconstructed and was left with even more adversity. He is passionate about getting his story out there and getting his hard-hitting message to others.
3B Training actively promote Mental Health across the industry by running regular Mental Health First Aid courses and delivering talks. They’re aiming to raise £10,000 to further support this great cause.
