UKATA Statement on Mechanisms of Training Delivery

Taking into account the guidance from HSE and to assist the industry with social distancing, the board of directors have agreed to extend the delivery of training by video to incorporate all training disciplines, including licensable training. Additionally we have introduced blended training.

Please find attached our Statement on Mechanisms of Training Delivery.

UKATA staff, directors and all members have worked tirelessly to increase the standards of asbestos training in the UK, and we will continue to do this. UKATA feel that the quality of the training delivery over the past 12 years has made a huge impact on industries understanding of the subject matter, thus ensuring safe working.

Although we are allowing members this opportunity to extend the mechanisms of training delivery, this is an interim measure which the board of directors will review at the end of August 2020.
