Job Title: UKATA Asbestos Trainer (Freelance)

Contract: Freelance / Self-Employed

Role Overview

Sanctus Training are looking for an experienced UKATA Asbestos Trainer to deliver accredited UKATA Asbestos courses . The role involves delivering engaging, compliant asbestos courses in line with UKATA standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver UKATA courses (Awareness, non-licensed Operative/ Groundworkers/ Waste & Civic Amenity Site Personnel, and Management in Soils & Made Ground)
• Ensure training meets UKATA and awarding body requirements
• Maintain accurate course records and documentation
• Provide a professional and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• UKATA Trainer accreditation
• Relevant industry experience, tutors must have a minimum of at least three years’ experience (within the past five years) in the asbestos industry.
• Hold a suitable asbestos qualification recognised by the asbestos industry, which may include: asbestos surveying, asbestos management or asbestos removal, or other such qualifications that UKATA deems to be acceptable;
• Teaching/training qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent)
• A successful UKATA Audit, or an internal Audit undertaken by the Member company they are working for at the highest category of training the Tutor will deliver on behalf of the Member;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to travel locally & nationally
