About the Role:
M&J Group is seeking an experienced and engaging Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Presenter/Trainer to deliver training on an ad-hoc basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, practical demonstrations, and assessments to ensure delegates develop the knowledge and skills required to safely undertake non-licensed asbestos removal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal (NLAR) training courses in line with company training standards and current legislation.
Facilitate classroom-based learning, presentations, and group discussions.
Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
Assess delegate competence through practical observation, questioning, and knowledge assessments.
Maintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, and assessment documentation.
Ensure all training materials remain compliant with current asbestos regulations and industry best practice.
Provide constructive feedback and support to delegates throughout the training process.
Promote a strong health and safety culture at all times.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience undertaking non-licensed asbestos removal works.
Sound knowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Experience delivering training, toolbox talks, or workforce instruction.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage delegates with varying levels of experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
Teaching or training qualification (AET, PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).
Asbestos-related training qualifications.
Construction or roofing industry experience.
CITB/UKATA training delivery experience.
Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).
