Role Description:
ACS are seeking two full-time permanent Asbestos Analyst/Surveyors to join their teams, one in South Wales and one in Glasgow. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for career advancement in a challenging industrial setting. The successful candidates will join close-knit teams collaborating with major industrial clients operating at COMAH sites in South and West Wales and a range of sites mostly located in the central belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting building surveys and bulk sampling
- Performing asbestos air monitoring and 4-stage clearances
- Producing accurate reports in standard formats
- Cultivating and enhancing relationships with clients
- Adhering to the company's Quality Management Systems and maintaining UKAS accreditation within small teams of Asbestos Site Analysts and Surveyors
- Primarily working on large complex industrial sites also domestic and commercial properties with a willingness to travel and work away from home to serve local and national clients in both the public and private sectors.
Qualifications:
- BOHS P402, 403/404 (or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in survey data collection software
- CoCA/CCP qualification (desirable)
- Minimum of 12 months of related work within a UKAS accredited organisation
- Report writing experience
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and representatives at all levels
- Proven expertise in core areas, or a strong desire to gain such experience
- Flexible attitude with a willingness to travel and stay away from home as required
- A full driving license is essential
