The ninth annual Asbestos Conference 2026, organised by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) in conjunction with the Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management (FAAM), will take place on 29 April 2026 at Central Square in Birmingham. This in-person event marks the ninth consecutive year of this established conference dedicated to asbestos assessment, control and management.
Expect a full day of expert talks and technical sessions. The programme focuses on scientific and practical topics covering key areas in the assessment, control and management of asbestos, providing insight into current challenges and regulatory developments within the profession. Attendees can expect informed discussion, knowledge-sharing and opportunities to engage with leading voices working across the field.
The conference is open to anyone to attend and is not limited to BOHS or FAAM members. It offers a valuable opportunity for professionals and those with an interest in asbestos-related work to connect, exchange expertise and stay up to date with developments shaping the sector in 2026.
