HSE system maintenance: planned downtime on 16 Sep, 25 Sep & 2 Oct

HSE will be carrying out upgrades and essential maintenance that may affect access to some online applications. During the windows below, applications linked to notifications and several databases — including ASB5, NNLW, RIDDOR and COMAH — may be unavailable for all or part of the period. (All times UK time.)

Key dates

• Tuesday 16 September 2025 — 07:00 to 19:00
• Thursday 25 September 2025 — 07:00 to 19:00
• Thursday 2 October 2025 — 07:00 to 19:00

What you should do

• Plan submissions outside these windows where possible (e.g. ASB5 and NNLW notifications).
• If you need to make an urgent report (e.g. RIDDOR) during a downtime window, keep full contemporaneous records and submit as soon as services resume.
• Share this notice with colleagues and admin teams who manage notifications and statutory reporting.
