Men’s Health Week UK runs from 9 to 15 June 2025 and serves as a vital national initiative to raise awareness of the physical and mental health issues disproportionately affecting men. This year’s campaign run by charity Men’s Health Forum is calling for the development of a comprehensive Men’s Health Strategy, an essential step in tackling preventable ill-health and premature mortality among men.
Breaking the silence around mental ill-health is fundamental to building psychologically safe workplace environments. Far too many men continue to suffer in silence, with suicide remaining the leading cause of death among men under 35. The stigma must be dismantled through proactive and open conversations.

This week, all organisations are encouraged to initiate dialogue around mental health, not only internally within their teams, but also across the businesses and industries they engage with. We urge leaders and employees alike to utilise this opportunity to foster a culture of openness and support.
To assist in these efforts, Mates in Mind has developed a range of free resources to help workplaces raise awareness and drive real change. We encourage everyone to access and share these materials, and to take meaningful steps toward a workplace culture that prioritises mental wellbeing. More Info and Free Resources
