The UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) is thrilled to unveil a new partnership with CTC Training. This collaboration aims to offer UKATA members unparalleled access to top-tier education and training.

As a testament to its commitment to excellence, UKATA has consistently championed the highest standards in asbestos training. Recognising the pivotal role tutors play in shaping the industry's future, UKATA has always ensured its tutors meet a stringent set of criteria. From robust qualifications and in-depth industry experience to rigorous tutor knowledge testing and auditing, UKATA has left no stone unturned in its quest for excellence.

With a vision to further raise the bar, UKATA is integrating a pivotal addition to its Tutor Competency Framework. Moving forward, an education and training qualification will be an indispensable requisite for all UKATA tutors. While a majority of the tutors already possess this qualification, those yet to acquire it will be accorded a 12-month window to fulfil this mandate.

Craig Evans, UKATA Chief Operating Officer, remarked, “This partnership epitomises UKATA's ceaseless pursuit of excellence. By collaborating with CTC Training, we are fortifying our commitment to ensure that our tutors and, in turn, the industry, stand second to none. This initiative not only underlines our dedication but is a testament to what sets UKATA distinctly apart.”

Since 2002, CTC Training have helped thousands of learners progress with their career goals across the UK thanks to their online courses. They are renowned for their excellence in providing vocational training solutions and bring a wealth of expertise in developing comprehensive training programmes across various sectors. With their innovative instructional techniques, the partnership aims to deliver a new level of excellence in training, ensuring that asbestos-related risks are properly understood and managed within the workplace.

Chris from CTC Training commented, “CTC Training is proud to join forces with an esteemed association like UKATA. Our shared ethos of fostering quality and innovation will undoubtedly pave the way for an unprecedented era of asbestos training in the UK. We're especially excited to offer the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, which equips individuals with the latest standards and techniques. Additionally, for those who may have secured their teaching qualifications years ago, we strongly advocate for this course as an excellent opportunity to update and refresh their skills and knowledge in the realm of training.”

This partnership is a great step forward. By working together and sharing our strengths, we're striving to make a positive change in how education is delivered.
