UKATA Celebrates Trustees’ Week 2025

UKATA highlights the invaluable contributions of trustees across the charity sector as part of Trustees’ Week 2025.

This annual event, running from 3rd to 7th November 2025, provides an opportunity to celebrate the dedication of trustees and encourage more people to take on this vital role within charitable organisations. Throughout the week, events, workshops, and networking opportunities will be held across the UK to support trustees and help charities strengthen their leadership.

UKATA takes pride in the dedication of its own Chief Operating Officer, Craig Evans, in his role as a trustee for Mesothelioma UK, the UK’s leading charity supporting those affected by mesothelioma. His commitment to the charity underscores UKATA’s ongoing mission to raise awareness about the dangers of asbestos and support those impacted by exposure.

As a trustee for Mesothelioma UK, Craig Evans plays a crucial role in advocating for mesothelioma patients, their families, and those affected by asbestos-related diseases. His extensive knowledge of asbestos training and health & safety regulations allows him to provide strategic guidance, ensuring that Mesothelioma UK remains at the forefront of support, research, and awareness initiatives. By contributing his expertise to the charity’s governance, Craig helps shape policies that directly impact those affected, fostering collaboration between key stakeholders and influencing positive change in the fight against mesothelioma.

Speaking on his role, Craig Evans said:

“Being a trustee for Mesothelioma UK is an honour and a responsibility I take very seriously. It allows me to contribute directly to the fight against mesothelioma, supporting research, raising awareness, and ensuring that those affected receive the help they need. My work at UKATA and Mesothelioma UK is closely aligned – both organisations are committed to making a real difference in preventing exposure and improving support for those impacted by asbestos.
