On the evening of Friday 12 November 2021, UKATA was announced as the winner of the Excellence in Customer Service award at the East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards.
Held every year, the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards recognise and celebrate where businesses have excelled in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire. Selected winners go on to the national BCC awards.
The Excellence in Customer Service award, sponsored by Aston Lark, recognises organisations with a focus on customer service and care, the award has been designed for businesses which demonstrate excellence and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
UKATA prides itself on the excellent customer service and customer experience it provides its members, industry associates and training delegates. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, members were offered financial support, marketing support and UKATA invested in technology to implement a move to temporary virtual training to help members continue trading.
In addition, UKATA achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, an international standard for quality management systems. UKATA proved their internal quality processes and procedures consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of the industry, members and other relevant stakeholders.
