UKATA is pleased to confirm its attendance at Mesothelioma UK’s 20th Annual Patient & Carer Day, taking place on Tuesday 7 October 2025 at King Power Stadium, Leicester.
This event, sponsored by Bristol Myers Squibb, is an opportunity to connect and share experiences with others, as well as learn about the latest research and living well with mesothelioma.
The day includes evidence-based talks, personal stories, peer support, and practical advice and is attended by healthcare professionals and researchers dedicated to advancing care and understanding for those affected by mesothelioma.
Organisers Mesothelioma UK are the national charity dedicated to supporting those affected by mesothelioma, a cancer linked to asbestos exposure. The charity provides specialist nursing care, supports research, and aims to raise awareness to prevent future generations from being affected by mesothelioma. Mesothelioma UK also offers free advice, information, and support services for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
Speaking on attending the upcoming event UKATA’s Operations Manager, Sasha Brailsford says “I am honoured to be attending Mesothelioma UK’s upcoming Patient Carer Day. I was truly inspired last year when I had the chance to meet and hear from mesothelioma survivors and campaigners. This event is such a powerful platform for sharing the latest research and supporting one another to raise awareness of mesothelioma.”
UKATA’s senior management team, including Craig Evans in his position as Trustee of Mesothelioma UK, will join the event to learn about the latest research and care for those affected by mesothelioma and to connect with the people at the heart of that journey.
Last remaining tickets are available online.
