UKATA is proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 9 – 15 February 2026, joining organisations across the UK in a week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
National Apprenticeship Week shines a spotlight on how apprenticeships create meaningful pathways into employment, combining practical experience with structured learning. At UKATA, apprenticeships have long been an important part of the organisation’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting professional development within the industry.
UKATA continues to champion apprenticeships as a valuable route for individuals at all stages of their careers, helping to build essential skills while contributing to a strong and capable workforce.

Olivia Anderson, Membership Account Manager at UKATA, reflects on her own journey from apprentice to a key member of the organisation:
“Starting my career as a marketing apprentice at UKATA gave me the opportunity to develop real, practical skills while learning in a supportive environment. The experience helped build my confidence and opened the door to progression within the organisation. Apprenticeships offer a fantastic foundation for long-term career development, and National Apprenticeship Week is a great chance to highlight just how impactful they can be.”
Olivia joined UKATA in 2019 as a marketing apprentice and has since progressed into the Membership Department, where she now plays a vital role in supporting both new and existing members. Her journey reflects the positive impact apprenticeships can have in building skills, adaptability, and career progression.
As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, UKATA is proud to celebrate the achievements of apprentices past and present, while continuing to encourage individuals and employers alike to explore apprenticeship opportunities as a route to developing skills for life.
